Low Carb Spaghetti Bolognese - zoodles version
- ground meat - lean beef or chicken breast
- olive oil
- bay leaf
- black pepper
- zucchini (to prepare zoodles, i.e. diet zucchini noodles)
Fry chopped onion in olive oil. When it becomes translucent, add the chopped tomato (you may peel it first to avoid the bitter taste). Cook for 5 minutes. Add the ground meat. Season with salt, bay leaf, black pepper and garlic. Cover and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
Fry garlic in olive oil. Then add the zucchini cut into thin "noodle-like" strips and sauté for a minute. Add the meat and sauté for another minute.
